In earlier years there was 1 active shortwave radio station in Sénégal, RTS, on 7.170 kc in the 40m band, but it is reported to be out of service since 2002.

There are a lot of FM radio stations in Sénégal, but due to the nature of FM transmission they can not be received outside Sénégal.

So offshore we can get Sénégalesian radio by satellite transmission or by web stream.
