Clearspeech audio line box |

NCT Clearspeech evaluation module:
NCT Clearspeech Datasheet Another difference is my board is featuring an ADSP-2186 processor, while the NCT description is showing the ADSP-2184. The board I got was preconfigured for Mic-input, as you can see on the detail foto: ![]() The
left contact of the missing DIP-switch was bridged by a 0 ohm resistor.
I removed the bridge and inserted a 4-pole DIP-switch like it is in the
data sheet: ![]() By the mode select the board can be switched for mic input, amplified mic and for line input. The
board is still very sensitive to input level, but with adjusted input
level it works fine. The board is using the ADSP-2186 processor, this is
a 16-bit 40 MIPS processor with 25 ns cycle instruction time, so it is
clearly for real-time processing. |
